| Beachlands itself is a pretty seaside village with safe swimming beaches. A short walk at low tide across to Motukaraka Island (Flat Island) provides panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf and the surrounding islands. |

Take a stroll to Pine Harbour Marina, where a ferry to the city takes only 35 minutes, or you might like to visit the cafe at the berths.
From Pine Harbour it's just a short cruising distance to the sheltered bays on nearby Waiheke Island. Fishing charters can be arranged and depart from Pine Harbour.

| Omana Regional Park provides an opportunity for gentle bush and coastal walks. Omana beach is bordered by grassy picnic grounds and park is run as a working farm. |

Beautifully named "Meeting place by the sea" Maraetai is a seaside village with beautiful beaches, safe swimming and good fishing spots.
A cafe and restaurant by the beach invite you to enjoy the local cuisine. Don't forget to have some 'fish & chips' right by the beach, a favourite with the locals. |

Visitors are able to walk through Duder's Regional Park. The views of the gulf are spectacular and again visitors are able to see a working farm.
